Rates

I place great emphasis on a fair and transparent pricing policy and thus, I woud like to give you an overview of how I calculate my net prices for my various language services.

All information provided by you will of course be kept strictly confidential.

The price for a translation is calculated on the basis of standard lines (à 55 characters, including blank spaces).

The source text is always the basis for calculation. Several factors, such as the level of difficulty (factual or specialised text), any additional services (proofreading, DTP,...), the delivery date (express delivery surcharges), etc. determine the final price for a translation.

• price per standard line: starting from € 2.20
• minimum fee (< 300 words): € 80.00
• surcharges (weekends, night work, etc.): starting from 50 % of the original price
  
• PDF scan/formatting work: depending on the effort required

Additional services for certified translations

• certification fee per document: € 30.00
  
• registered mail (Austria): € 25.00
  

Court interpreting

• Interpreting in court: € 150.00 / hour
  
• Short assignment (max. 1 hour): starting from € 175.00

The price for proofreading and editing is calculated on the basis of words, standard pages (A4 paper size, 30 lines, 55 characters each = 1650 characters, including blank spaces) or per hour. The length, type and quality of the text can influence the proofreading and editing workload. Any other additional linguistic services are calculated per hour.

• Proofreading per word/standard page: starting from € 0.07 € or € 15.00
• editing per word/standard page: starting from € 0.10 € or € 25.00
• general hourly rate: € 95.00
